The Division for Change and Empowerment (DiCE) believes in a university where all Lobos are empowered to pursue their dreams without barriers. Introduces faculty to the Critical Analyses of US and Global Cultures requirement and best practices to apply and fulfill the criteria.

CAC Application Deadline
Sept 11
Final date to submit materials to the Alza Council Curricular Subcommittee (ACCS) for 2026 approval. Course fulfills the requirement starting in Fall 2027 for six years.

ACCS oversees the CAC requirement. Members meet monthly and evaluate courses to ensure they meet the criteria. Participating faculty receive small research stipend.
